Book Blurb: Ten year old Will Darcy leads an ideal life. But things change suddenly in the course of one day. As time goes by, circumstances require him to take on more and more responsibilities, until he's faced with a choice of pursuing his own dreams of becoming a lawyer or acting in his beloved sister's best interest. Years later, his life finally seems to be on track. At 28, he's a successful attorney at one of the top law firms in the country and things couldn't be going better, either professionally or personally. He thinks he's got it all figured out- until someone from his past, and a new acquaintance, in the form of feisty law student Elizabeth Bennet, turn his world upside down.
My Review: This book is a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice with both Darcy and Lizzy in the profession of the law. Of course right now Lizzy is just an intern looking for work. I really enjoyed how we got to see the back story between the Darcy's and the Wickham's at the beginning of the story. The book for me though started off slow and then picked up the pace about a quarter of the way through. This is the first book I have read by the author and now I will attempt to read her other published works in the future.
